It's a challenge for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The top summits have long been mastered.

We're talking about the squad that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and once went nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a squad that has achieved everything.

That it took as late as Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a testament to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over five decades.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, hitting 21 fours and three sixes.

When she was out the team needed 66 additional runs at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the confidence to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we believe we can achieve it."

These statements will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this tournament should hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this success following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a last-four spot may well be secure.

It was at that stage they exited the prior year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a game Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the first time at a major tournament.
