In a unexpected crossover event that challenges usual expectations, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Revealed
According to the formal announcement, "A strange meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine sect.
The questline concentrates on "strange tests and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Changes
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Material
Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an unique katana in addition to multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
